Anyone got a chameleon?????

HI all, i'm new here. Just wondered if anyone kept chameleons.
Got my first a week ago. Not sure if setup is right. Reptile centre sold me a wood vivarium with glass sliding doors. Most books i read say that chams should be housed in vivs with screen sides. Does that apply here in England or just in the States where most of my books are printed. Hope someone can help
