Why do you want to buy mail order? Is there no breeders or shops local or within travelling distance?
There are some breeders in the UK who are able to organise overnight courier services but in general, and especially at this time of the year most people would sooner not send animals by courier.

My advice would be to post a wanted advert on http://www.cviewmeida.com and http://www.livefood.co.uk stating your location and the species you are interested in purchasing. I'm pretty sure you would get some help with finding local animals.
