I bought a wooden vivarium and I'm quite happy with it. The gecko also seems fine with it.

The only strange thing I noticed is that it tries to climb the back wall (which it can't), and sometimes keeps standing against it for up to 10 minutes... If it's smart enough to walk around it can easily walk up to the wood I placed to get higher in the tank. (Picture of setup included but note that it's a big image!)

:I'd say go with the wooden viv. All glass means that the animal may feel less secure - it's very open on all sides that way- leading to a stressed specimen.

:Also glass vivs do not in my experience hold the heat as well as a wooden one. The glass will remain cold to the touch - so if your animal touches it it can be chilled...all in all, wooden vivs are much better...
