:Have you done a search for "toad care sheet" yet? The GENERAL requirements for Bufo species should be similar (I'm not a "toad person" myself).

Thanks Chris, I'll look into the fact sheets. I'm not a toad fan either, not what I set out to get. I agree with the issue of not buying things like this because it then creates more of a demand apparently, but if an animal is suffering, and this one was, I can't stand by or walk away without trying to do something. It's a tough issue! thx, Amy.
