Chris,

I wish I could help you out with this as Blacktails from the eastern portion of the Edwards Plateau are seemingly becoming quite rare. Perhaps a greater problem than finding him a mate will be getting him to feed--if he hasn't already. The Blacktails I have kept from Bandera Co. have been a real pain to get feeding--even the younger ones! Good luck with him.
