Thanks for the info. I knew that skinks were lizards, but wasn't certain if this lizard was a skink. From your information, I believe them to be ground skinks and agree that the lighting and "shine" of their skin gave the impression of blue stripes. (On occassion, I have noticed the smaller ones having a bluish hue to their tails) If I manage to catch one, I'll post the pix.
