around 1980 I actually saw a Bandito complete with bullet holders on horseback near the big hill, could have been contrabando canyon. Freaked me out pretty good because a buddy had dropped me off by myself walking and he didn't come pick me up when he said he would, after he finally picked me up we drove another 200 yards or so and saw this bandito. I let my buddy have it!
