hey i posted some shops on the other forum. There is one shop off of I-45 which is somwhere closer to greenspoint than the other. It is called s&s exotics on the street connorvale. they have really cleaned up their shop, now its pretty nice looking. have a good selection of exotic herps. bought my budgets frog and african bullfrog them. They have a pretty good selection. Another shop is in Montrose near downtown. It is called Char's Reptile Store. Great people. bought my leo and set up from them. It is on Westheimer. My personal favorite store in Houston is Pets-A-Plenty. It is clean(no stench at all, no dropping in cages all animals in good health) and the owner is really a great guy. Keeps his personal collection of herps in the back. Aspedilaps, agkistrodon, crotalus, large monitors, and i believe has some type of alligator/caiman thats 4 ft long in the back. They are really worth the drive as the store is on Highway 6 at bellaire. If you need a good herp vet, the best i know of is Dr. Larry White. He is at briarcrest animal clinic i think. He treats almost all kinds of herps, from pythons to my frogs. He also i think does something with our herp society. Good luck and if you need any more help, dont hesitate to email me~Andy
