I'm looking for a current event for my history class, and I read an article in the Arlington Star Telegram. It is about the tightening of wild animal laws in TX. on pg 6b of wed. aug. 29, it says"Pythons, other deadly snakes and wolves are not among the 19 covered by the law." It does talk about permits, not specifically on snakes but the new law (effective sat. 1st) does allow you to keep these animals on federal permits. Though pythons are not of this law there should be a way to get a permit and/or legally keep them~LL05
