help! need to identify turtle

I caught a turtle here in houston tx.It looked like a red ear slider except... It had the marking of a red ear on its head tail and legs but was real pale grean barley being able to see the markings.The top of its head was a pale tan with black spots,
its shell had no markings and was also pale tan with black marks
along the edges like a red ear.Its eyes were dark green.Has anybody seen a turtle like this ? I have bean catching and keeping turtles for a long time and have never seen anything like it.I released it since I don't have the space for it and i did not have a camera to take a pic.Please if anybody has any info, e-mail me. My freind that was with me tells me there is more like it in the pond.
