What kind of breeds would go together in my viquarium?????

I am pretty new to the herp world and wanted to set up a viquarium (I believe that's what you call it) I have a 150 gallon aquarium setup and am starting to set it up for a bank for the "pond", and I am wanting to put various types of frogs and other amphibians in it. What would go good together and what wouldn't? The pet stores I have been to are not very knowledgeable and are willing to give me anything I will pay for. I do not want to do this.....I want to do it right, but just do not have the appropriate knowledge in this area and cannot find any books on the subject at any of the area bookstores. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!
