Dan Davis,
Selling this animal in the State of Texas is in violation of its threatened status reagrdless who you purchased them from. These men "over the internet" are only wildlife crooks regardless of who and what they claim to be. Please do your homework before you get into trouble. Dont lower yourself to their level. Alligator snappers do not make good pets and want nothing to do with you or anyone else. When they get larger, its only a matter of time until you or your loved ones (children) end up missing their fingers! And youll therefore be responsible for negligence and their fate! How will you really feel about that? By the way, its Macroclemys temminckii, not temmincki.
