Your the one living in LaLa land, if you don't believe collecting herps from the wild could effect the native populations in some areas to some effect.
Click your heals three times MAYDAY and say "There is no place like home, there is no place like home, there is no place like ..."
Or it could be MAYDAY MAYDAY MAYDAY there are no more frogs, toads, snakes, or turtles here please help.
Don't laugh I have seen it happen in many areas. But I'm sure with your infinite wisdom you will deny that it will happen in your area.
You can only take so much out of an area before you damage it beyond repair in your lifetime or even if it will ever recover.
