Your options are limited, but there are still a few species that you could try. Eastern box turtles, three-toed box turtles, and ornate box turtles shouldn't have any problem hibernating there. If you want something a bit more exotic,Russian tortoises should easily survive a kentucky winter, however you would need to make sure the tortoise is in a very well-drained area as russians health will quickly deteriorate in the cooler months if the conditions are moist.
