do musk turtles need uv light or basking light?

:I'm under the impression that they don't bask and don't need uv light. I've seen it in some care sheets. Is this true?
I have 2 loggerheads, and I had a UVB light for a while, but they have never basked, they have a basking spot, but never come out of the water, and UVB light doesn't really penetrate the water, so I think they are fine, so i just have a really old reptisun on it since they never bask, if they start basking, I will put a fresh UVB bulb on it.
