many of us on this forum have heard or told terrible stories about what cats can do to outdoor turtles. I think all but the largest meanest aquatics are at risk (maybe a big burmese or sulcata would be okay too) but i know of a redfoot which was actually blinded by a cat. Also, though south florida provides
ideal conditions for many species of turtles there are dangers due to raccoons and (for smaller turtles) large birds. Be careful.
