Hello-
I am looking for a turtle to go into my pond. I live in Oregon and we have hot summers and cold winters. I plan to hibernate this turtle in the pond during the winter (the pond is deeper than the freeze line). What kind of turtle should I get? I don't want one that grows to be too large, and I want one that is friendly and hardy. Someone told me about a "Reeves" turtle...would that be okay? Any species reccomendations?
