Well you do make a good point. The spotteds I currently own were all bought as cb hatchlings and are just starting to reach sexual maturity. A lot of the info you asked however involves genetics so I'm not so sure how big of an impact it would have. You would certainly at least need a larger group of specimins for an experiment. You could try separating siblings or something but it is intersting nonetheless.

:Since I stated I keep my animals indoors I think that qualifies as belittling my setup. Thats just one quote. There was more that was condescending but what the heck. He's as entitled to his opinion as I am. On a side note, have either one of you had breeding success with your spotteds? If so what were the clutch sizes? Was there any mortality after they hatched? Were they kept outdoors or were they kept indoors until they reached a certain size? Were they hibernated or kept awake during their first winter? It would be interesting to know.
