:mrcanada21-- The difference is the degree of genetic divergence between the animals in the two areas. As far as outward physical differences, I can't see a difference in them and neither can most other people. I was fortunate to be able to see both subspecies, side-by-side, in a private collection about a month ago. They look the same to me. But the genetics says they're different enough to be subspecies...supposedly. --Maxx
