::I use small natural looking gravel and sand. The water is always crystal clear and looks great. I try to net out as many leaves, etc that fall into the pond. Water changes are important, as well as aquatic plants for maintaining nice water.

:::What do you use on the bottom on your ponds as substrate? Want this pond to look as natural as possible but also as low maintenance as a turtle pond can be. And clear water.
