I'm really not sure that this is even still an organized herp society. If you go through the old posts, you'll see what I mean. I, like you, am fairly new to the area, and would love to communicate with other like minded herpers.
I'm not sure if I want an organized society with members and fees.... but I think it would rock to meet the locals.
I don't want to step on toes here... if there is organization to this... let me know. But if not... those who read this can post some feedback and we'll see about everyone meeting up or something.
