HI! I'm another TSHS member that helped out with the show. Let me ask you - What would *you* like to see more of? We are always looking for ideas, and ways to improve the show - considering the March show was our first... What would make you say "Wow! Just what I was looking for!"

You said you were into monitors? What kind? Mini-monitors like ridgetails, Kimberly rock, and the like? Or are you into green trees, or crocodiles, and Perenties. There was a trio of Storr's monitors at the show - I know, 'cause I drooled at 'em (but I already spent my money). There was also a *gorgeous* peachthroat there (we might have a pic of it on our website). Vendors who sell just monitors are rare to nonexistant though. At the old Findlay shows there were green and black trees, peachthroats, and whitethroats on several occasions.

So what would hold your interest? Wanna give a talk at one of our meetings (or show) about the monitors you keep?

And as for our show being the same as Monroeville with venomous and more space, well, stretching that a bit - the same could be said of Hamburg too! :) And Hamburg doesn't have speakers! Just kidding - really though, I don't keep venomous either, but consider that there are animals there you won't see in most zoos - that the Pittsburgh Zoo won't touch. I just love to look. Cobras especially are so beautiful - they mesmerize me. And some, like the Albino Diamondback that was on display, are very rare.

At any rate I hope you'll continue to post here, give our show some time to develop (and another chance), and maybe even come and check out our meetings.

: I was at the show and there wasn't much for me.
: They have plenty of venemous (which I don't keep)
: and plenty of cheaper stuff. I like monitors
: but all you ever see at shows are savs and niles.
: They had speakers which was good for people who
: may just be getting into the hobby. Basically
: it is the same show as monroeville with venemous
: and more space.

: eric
