Ok......cobras can kill you.....we only "handle" a cobra when somebody else in the room knows how to handle it.....rattle snakes can kill you.....we only "handle" rattlers when ther eis somebody else in the room that can handle them....kingsnakes THINK they can kill you at times, but in reality they can't....handle them as much as you want.....LARGE PYTHONS, have the POTENTIAL to kill you.....ONLY handle them when there is somebody else in the room that CAN HANDLE a large python......this is our basic rule. Right now, our retic CAN'T kill us (well, on a bad day, she might make somebody BLEED to death, but that is highly unlikely. When she gets big enough and aggressive enough, we will NOT handle her unless somebody else is there that can handle a large retic (possibly even 2 people) it's really that simple......lifting weights has the same dangers.....would you try to max out on the bench press with Michelle as your spotter?????? no offense to Michelle, but I'm sure she couldn't dead lift what you can bench. ALWAYS HAVE EXPERIENCED BACKUP....somebody that can take control in things get out of hand, or a mistake happens. All the alcohol and tazers in the world couldn't replace experienced help.
