:afrixalus are banana frogs. people often confuse them with hyperolius,or reed frogs. the major difference is the pupil. they are vertical in afrixalus. they are from madagascar. 20 or so species. they are nocturnal. should be kept in a tropical forest terrarium with a water section. but there are also savannah species that should be kept like a swamp with high humidity.
