it depends. my frog developed neon green spots on his back. they were bright bright green and some welted up. they normally showed up when he was brownish and seemed to have a small black dot in the middle. if they are the same things you need to get your frog anti-biotics right away, quarentine him and treat any other frogs you have in the same way. also.. get any other frogs out of that tank. i lost my frog... i hope yours is just a coloration issue :) best of luck
