::So I am setting up my rain chamber for waxy monkey frogs in the hopes of breeding them and I was wondering if anyone has any general advice in addition to answering a few questions. Being that they are not swimmers, how deep should the water be at the bottom of the tank? Should i use a false bottom to make the water deep enough for a submerged pump and still aloow them to stand in the water if neccessary. From the little that i can find about the phylamedusas the lay their eggs on leaves much like red-eyes. Is this true? Please respond only if you are very knowledgable on the subject. In the past i have gotten responses that even i as an intermediate herper knew were quite bogus. Thanks a lot for your insight.

:Hey,

: I keep sauvagei. For my rain chamber, I have a flase bottom and no sitting water. These guys lay eggs of leaves and then they fall into water. I just have the false bottom and the water runs below it then back to the rain bar. I have not bred them yet. Here's my web site with pics.

:Derek

Thanks for the intelligent response
