not really. frogs should be treated just like a fish. display only. rinsing your hands before handling is better although distilled water should not be used at all, esp for the water in the tank. but handling frogs is just not a good idea. their skin is too sensitive to things in our skin. besides for the obvious that the more you play with the frog, the more chances the frog will escape, you will forget to put the lid on, the frog gets hurt, etc...
