:hi there,
:i posted here about a month ago.. since then, my two green tree frogs (hyla cinerea) have flourished.. they are almost twice the size they were when i got them. (they were VERY small then, and still have some growing to do now.)
:my question is this.. is there a definitive way to tell the males from the females? i thought i heard a noise from their tank.. it scared the bejeezus out of me this evening. it was a loud... WOKWOKWOK sound.. or something. is that calling.. orrr something else?
:thanks for any help.

Sounds like your WTF croaked. Check out this web site, it has a sound wave you can download of what a WTF sounds like when it croaks. I've heard mine twice so far in the few weeks I have had him. (only takes like 30 seconds)
