ask about something? what did I need to ask? your tank was not setup before you bought the frog. the house for your pets should be setup before you bring the animal home. why experiment with the heat lamp after the frog is in the tank? the temp should be set before! why risk keeping the frog too hot or too cold? they get sick easily and always because of improper care. give me a break. not saying your setup won't be bad but it should have been completed last week.
also there is no problem with a red light or whatever you are using as long as the temp is not too hot. but the temp does need to be cooler at night, hence the night light not needed. white's like the temps at night in the 70's. constant temps of 80 or whatever are not best for the frogs. that is what is important, not what you think looks good.
