naturalistic setups are the only way to go imo. but why people think they are alot to maintain I don't know. they probably have never spent the money or time to do the initial setup. after that it is a piece of cake. change water every other day but you do that anyway. depending on what kind of frog only need to change the substrate once every 6 months/year for treefrogs, more often for terrestrial frogs, and that doesn't really take that long. the best substrate to use imo is bed-a-beast/composted leaves/bark nuggets mix. didn't look at the pics but that is what I would use. e-mail me and I can send you pics of my tanks
