I put corkbark in my White's tank.....

But he doesn't seem interested. in the tank theres a little jar slanted on its side on the bottom of the tank, its got a little water in it. Herby, my whites, just goes in there to hide all day. Before i put it in he would be up in the corner or on top of the highest branch. Now i haven't even seen him once on the corkbark. is this normal...? thanks
