:Last night I went with about 10 other people to a small stretch of road in Vermont to escort and document the many amphibians that would be crossing that night. I expected maybe a couple hundred at the most but I was mistaken. The total was well over 1000 salamanders. We found Blue-spotted, Spotted, Red-backed, Four-toed, Eastern newts, along with some American toads, Woodfrogs, Gray treefrogs, and spring peepers. All of the over 1000 specimens were found on a strtch of road no more than 400 yards in length from about 9:30-11:00 pm. All I have to say is wow.
:Also, I wonder if there is a patent on using 'extract of salamander' as an adhesive, lol jk.
