how big is the tank? can get a bigger tank. don't use a viquarium. they stink. water too deep and the space wasted on the water should be used for something else. the best setup imo is a 55 gal tank for two, yes that is big but bigger is better, with a plexiglass divider so land/water separate. water 3" deep. background on three sides, cork bark pieces glued to back wall for frog to hide behind, a rock pile of sandstone/shale with smaller rocks in between to create plenty of hiding spots, assorted driftwood/bamboo, live plants (snake plants and ivy), bed-a-beast/composted leaves substrate.
when you clean out the substrate (I hope you do that) you can rearrange the stuff too.
