10 gal is on the small side but it is ok. do you have background taped on three sides and some good hiding places? cork bark pieces glued to the back wall is great. they will hide behind it.
if the frog just ate I don't think you have much to worry about although I prefer to let the frog hunt and not eat out of my hand.
