adult green tree frogs - why so many for sale recently?

Several dealers are advertising adults for sale - did someone go capture a bunch recently? Why so many for sale by multiple breeders all of a sudden?

Any advice on white's as pets vs green tree's as pets - I've got a whites and want another or a green tree.
