from my experience the whites tree frogs that i have owned they all sleep durring the day and are awake at night...they are nocternal...as well as non active,they just pick a spot and pretty much just stay there...it depends on their personality...but if they are too active thats a bad sign that they are not content with their surroundings and stressed which can cause all kinds of problems....this is just what i have learned in my experience so don't hold me to it...see what the more experienced people say as well...good luck!
