Coming from experience, at that size he should be more active than what you describe. A few questions for you, though. When you palpate around the mass, does the frog seem to be uncomfortable? What is the set up like? I would suggest taking him to a qualified vet for a diagnosis, as "bumps" could be caused by quite a few things. Yes it is a bit of a hassle to find a good one, but you bought the frog in that condition and its your responsibilty to see that its healty. For future reference, I know that it's hard to do when they are so "charming", but you really shouldn't buy animals that arent in good condition. I'm not trying to come down on you, but I've bought my share of rescue Whites only to have this little thing or that turn into a costly investment which sometimes they dont even make it through. I'll provide a link to a good reptile/amphibian vet referal site which you could use if you don't have one. Also, come to this site if you have any more questions that you want answered quickly and accurately. http://talkto.thefrog.org/
If you have anymore questions, ask away! Everyone there is really helpful. Good luck, and keep us posted.
