Shrek at 9 crix the other night and has been sitting very fat and quiet in the cage.

However last night I noticed heaps of poo as you would expect to, on the floor.

I started to clean it up and I noticed on was on the runny side.

On closer inspection it was just full of white rod shaped 'eggs'.

I got it out immediately and spread it out to have a look. The rods are not moving, not alive, and they are hard. They are exactly the same a crix eggs.

My theory, there is a crix loose in the cage still and it has laid eggs in her poo while it was still wet.
Or can they lay eggs in her tummy seeing as she ate so many? and then she has passed them?

I am crossing fingers that this isn't anything more sinister.
Anyone else had this?
