::I separated this tadpole off last week because he had developed back and front legs.
::He was in his own tank with about 2 1/2" of water and an island in the middle where he could climb out when he wanted to. He had branches and rocks in there to help him climb out also.
::He hadn't been eating for the past few days but I wasn't concerned because his tail was shrinking. Yesterday it had shrunk about 1/4 of what it was.
::Yesterday I changed his water with dechlorinated water because it needed changing.
::This morning the little guy was upside down on the bottom,dead.
::What have I done wrong?
::The tank wasn't aereated because he was the only one in there and I thought he didn't need it. I had two fish in a tank the same size and they did't need it. Do morphs?
::At what exact stage do their gills close and they use their lungs? When their tail has gone? When they are losing their tail?
::Maybe he couldn't get out and he drown? Maybe he starved even though there was food in there?
::Any one shed some light on this for me because I am quite upset and I have 10 other taddies to go through this and I don't want to stuff up again.
