Twice a day ought to do it. You might even get away with once a day since they have pretty good healing abilities, but make it the morning application that you stick with. That's the one that's most likely to stay on undisturbed.

It may take several weeks to look normal again however. They do heal well but there's very little flesh over the nose and it's obvious when it's damaged or newly healed.
