:Hi,
:I'm interested in purchasing either a Green Tree Python, or a Emerald Tree Boa. I've heard that GTP's tend to be less nippy than Emerald's. In addition I've heard that Emeralds are more difficult to keep in captivity.
:Is this true? Overall, are GTP's a better choice over Emeralds?

:Thanks,
:Peter

I keep amazon basin emeralds, and they are some the calmest and most easygoing treeboas you will come ever come across. If you plan on breeding, emeralds are easier to get started
feeding due to their larger size.As to GTP's,
sorongs usually have a good temperment, and their coloration of green and blue is very
appealing. Both types of snakes are spectacular.
