I'd have say just these things....

I have one from a 97 litter that is tame, only because of 4 years of weekly handling and even when it's feeding time he'll bite first then think later.

A bite from them is not terrible compared to some but it packs a punch for its size to be sure.

They are not a species that are "pets", they do best if left alone and viewed (like a fish tank). Amazing animals.
