:I have a wild caught etb that has not eaten in 7 weeks(big surprise). I think he may have an upper respitory infection that is the cause. His gums are an off white but he has a little bit of flakage on the front of his mouth. He is not blowing bubbles and I don't hear or feel any gurgling. I have tried to feed him baby rats and I tried a gerbil last night but no luck. He would show a little bit of interest but not enough. Any help would be much appreciated.

If you think he has a resp. infection, but you aren't sure then you should have him checked by a pro. Also have him checked for parasites - they can lead to not eating as well as contribute to respiratory infections.

Good luck,
Heather
