Front door for glass aquarium for Amazon??? (more)

I am going to use a 30 gal. aquarium for my first amazon. I know that it has to be vertical, but how should I make the front cover?? I was thinking plexiglass or or even better acrylic to keep in humidity.. Should there be anything more to it like rubber lining??
