Here's what worked for me. A 1 foot plastic shoe box with a few small holes around the side, paper towel as a substrate, a water dish that took up a third of the box. Left dark for a week (except for being misted once during the week).
Using forceps lay a dead fuzzy next to the baby without touching the baby. Leave the place where the snake is totally alone (no vibrations from walking, light, etc.)
A whole clutch of captive born babies ate for me within two months this way. In the end, they were all grabbing them off the forceps.
Hope it's not too late.
Good Luck.
:I posted a message a while back about my baby atb not eating. I have tried to feed once a week after the helpful advice given to me here, but he is still not eating. I have been told to take him to a vet if he dosent eat for 3 months. Its almost been 2 and a half moths and no luck....can anyone suggest anything? I am really worried about him.. He appears to be very healthy and active. I have his enclosure (2 1/2 gal) completely covered, and his heat and humidity are perfect. He just wont eat! Please help!!
