My five year old female emerald is so big all of a sudden I can't believe my eyes. She's almost six feet long and has been eating large rats every 20-25 days for over two years now and never gives them back. She has always been a BIG GIRL.I had a couple males in with her late last year but I didn't observe copulation. I just went in to feed some of my other snakes and was blown away by the mid-body swelling she now has. Now, a question or two; how long can she retain sperm ( if the males did give her a go ) and if she's ovulating how long do I have to get another male ready before it's too late. I need some answers soon and thanks in advance, Glen
