Are you new to arboreals? If so, I would go with a nice CB amazon. There are a few major differences between the 2 species, the most notable one being price. A quality CB ATB will usually run between $125-175 and the lowest a GTP will go for is around $500. I don't have any experience with the chondros, but I have an ATB and from what I've heard from other arboreal owners, amazons are the best beginner arboreal. If you want more in-depth info, check out Corallus.com-the best on-line info portal for tree boas. Hope this helps!
