:Has anyone here been bitten by their boa? Does it hurt? Are they Usually nippy? I just got a adult cooks tree boa and it is a bit nippy. Thanks Dave

Practically everyone in here has been bitten, I would imagine. The first time it happens (if you've never been bitten by a snake before), it'll startle you more than anything else. And then your feeling will be hurt for being ashamed of being so scared, hehe. But it doesn't hurt anything more than getting pricked by rose thorns (this doesn't apply to the big ones). Your just gonna have to let it happen, then you won't be so nervous about it. You might ask the snake to be gentle though, since it's your first time and all.
