I have been reading up on emeralds now for a while but one thing always puzzeled me. What is a good substrate. Most of the books/caresheets say cypress mulch but i dont use that stuff because of problems with the eyes. it has been a problem with my monitors when i used to keep them on it so i dont want to use that. is there any other alternative to it. besides newspaper/paper towels. I was thinking of sphagnum moss because it can hold humidity, or is that stuff no good. any suggestions? any info is appreciated thank you
