For the most part yes, however, it really depends on the snake, some settle down over time and frequent handling - others are stubborn and never settle down. Some may only settle down slightly. Then again, there's always the odd ball that never strikes. This is most commonly found in 3rd generation and deeper of captive born and bred... Look at the temperment of the parents and it usually gives you a good idea as to how the offspring will be - but like I said, there's always an exception to prove the rule.
